Team Manitoba - U17 Girls Canada Games 2025

Box Lacrosse is back at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

Team Manitoba will be sending Boys and Girls U17 Box Lacrosse teams to the Canada Summer Games in St. John's, NL in August 2025.

Eligible athletes are born on or after January 1, 2009. Unconfirmed pending approval of 2025 Technical Package: The expectation is that each Manitoba team will be able to roster at least 1 2008-born over-age athlete.

Training for these programs begins Fall 2023 with our open athlete I.D. Runs. These sessions will be scheduled periodically as various facilities throughout the province come available.

From an athlete and team development perspective, it is recommended to attend as many of these sessions as you are able to. These are not try-outs. The purpose of these sessions is to develop athletes and team dynamics for the coming stages of the program. Tryouts for the training team will come at a later date.

These sessions will not be held on a regular basis, and should not be considered a replacement for the Team Manitoba Athlete Development Program
