Manitoba Frost Provincial 'A' Program 

The Manitoba Lacrosse Association is proud to announce a powerful new partnership with the Winnipeg Blizzard for the 2026 season! Together, we are launching the Frost Provincial A Box Program, an exciting new initiative designed to elevate elite lacrosse development across Manitoba. This collaboration unites the Manitoba Lacrosse Association’s high performance vision with the Winnipeg Blizzard’s championship culture and proven excellence on and off the court.

The Frost Provincial A Program will be strengthened by the involvement of past and present Winnipeg Blizzard players and coaches, bringing their experience, leadership, and winning mentality directly into the program. Minor athletes will benefit firsthand, learning the Winnipeg Blizzard’s offensive and defensive systems, creating consistency, confidence, and a clear pathway to the next level.

The teams will be travelling to Saskatoon on the May Long Weekend to compete in the Saskatoon A Box Tournament.

The I.D. Camp is offered free of charge to all interested athletes. Teams will be selected from there and the schedule with dates and location will be provided at that time. The dates for practices and games are on the poster below. For the first time, we will be offering a West Manitoba option that will practice entirely out West and will form their own team of Frost. This will be offered to U13 and U15 players.

Those selected will pay the team fee of $550. It does not include travel or accommodations, however Manitoba Lacrosse has a block of rooms at a preferred rate for families to book from. Athletes will get to keep a shirt, shorts and jersey.
