The MLA has access to grants to help reduce the barriers of cost to start-up new programs. We can also help source grants from other resources like Sport Manitoba, KidSport, local governments, and with soliciting sponsors.
Grants can go toward equipment, uniforms, facilities, technical leadership training, etc.
We would love to come out and help delivery Try Lacrosse or Lacrosse-in-School programs to generate interest in the community. These programs teach kids the basics of the game, fundamental skills, and also explores the history of the game and its roots in Indigenous culture. Sessions can be single-day or multi-day offerings.

We want to make sure your volunteers are comfortable getting involved and confident in their knowledge of the game. Manitoba Lacrosse has some great facilitators for coaching clinics, officials clinics, or just general lacrosse knowledge clinics for participants and parents.
Go to a high school that doesn't currently have a field lacrosse team? We can help! High Schools are eligible for all of the above as well.
For a Women's Field Lacrosse program, all you need is 10-12 girls! Manitoba Lacrosse has sticks and goggles to provide. No experience required, and very little equipment!
