Team Manitoba 17U Canada Games Training Kick-Off Event

The newly-formed Team Manitoba 17U male and female box lacrosse teams kicked-off their training seasons over the weekend with a fun day filled with cultural activities honouring the Creator's Game.

Both teams along with their families joined together at Assiniboine Park for a history of lacrosse delivered by Dr. Brian Rice of the University of Manitoba, followed by snacks, and traditional Pow Wow dancing with Jedediah Swampy and the Flett-Roulette family.
