We Are Committed To Manitoba
Most importantly, it is the vision of the Manitoba Blizzard to turn young men into good men. Secondly, our goal is to help build lacrosse in Manitoba. We expect our athletes to make their communities more vibrant, to improve the quality of lacrosse in Manitoba, and set examples both as players and as citizens.
Lacrosse is the Fastest Game on Two-Feet and the Fastest Growing Sport in North America. As Canada’s National Summer Sport, Lacrosse has had a long tradition in Manitoba; however, only in the last five years have our Manitoba Athletes gained national exposer with entry into the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL).
The RMLL Junior “B” Tier I Division is a highly competitive Junior Box League based in Alberta. There are ten teams, eight from Alberta, one team from Saskatchewan, and our Manitoba Blizzard.
Junior “B” Tier I league players are between the ages of 17 and 21. They develop their skills at the Junior “B” Tier I level before potentially transitioning to Junior “A” in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta.
