BY DALLAS SMITH

WINNIPEG, Manitoba- As the college lacrosse season comes to a close for many teams south of the border, Andy Szun a Winnipeg native and Sophomore Attackman for Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin has been selected to the All-CCIW Team during his 2017 campaign for the Red Men.

From Carthage College:

“Szun capped the 2017 regular season as the Red Men leader in goals (49), assists (25) and points (74). His 74 points puts him in a tie for fifth on the Red Men all-time individual single-season list. Szun currently leads the CCIW with seven man-up goals. The sophomore from Winnipeg, Manitoba eclipsed five goals on two occasions this season. This marks Szun’s first time on the All-CCIW Team.”

The Manitoba Lacrosse Association is pleased to see our high performance athletes have continued success internationally. We hope to build and grow on the success of individuals like Andy Szun to foster and grow the number of athletes pursuing higher education while playing lacrosse internationally.
